Our Impact on the Roanoke Community & Beyond…
JEWISH EDUCATIONAL LOAN FUND (JELF): Jewish students living in the Greater Roanoke Area may turn to the RJF for help in accessing interest-free, need-based loans to supplement their financial resources and give them the opportunity to attend full-time accredited post-secondary educational programs.
These need-based loans help bridge the gap between a student’s financial resources and the cost of attending higher education (college, graduate school and vocational programs). The application is open January 3rd- April 30th for the following full academic year and August 1st-September 30th for the following spring and summer semesters. For more information about the process, contact the RJF's JELF Loan Coordinator, Court Rosen, courtrosen@gmail.com, or go to jelf.org
